Home again, Home again, jiggety jig.
We pushed on through the day and night and made it home in one shot! My sister and her car are amazing. And her awesome car stereo adds to the awesomeness. GPS is a marvel. Watching our progress and the ETA time continually shrink spurred us on. At times the GPS was being cursed at for not seeming to match up with the road ahead, but it always got us "rerouted". (It was annoying.)
Home is my cozy bed and cuddly husband, whole body wagging doggy and sleepy boy, and mounds of dirty laundry and dishes! Ah well, I am home.
Welcome to Keiko's Hammer. Good friend started me on this blogging thing. Sewing, arts and crafts and all things beautiful. I am learning to sew and starting with tote bags. Sewing is a great outlet for creativity and gift giving. Love my new Brother sewing machine. So easy to use right out of the box, especially since I haven't sewn since high school. Which is a long long time ago.
Hopefully, back on the road home tomorrow. Visiting friends and fam in Georgia. Totally balmy down here. Friend's kids helped with new sewing project. Actually planning out a design instead of winging it. Discovered felt and all it's possibilities. Good for fall winter themes.
Signing off for now. Got to get some darts on target.
